Joseph is currently at St FX completing his Bachelor of
Education and did his Bachelor of Music at l’Université de
Moncton with a major in classical voice and a secondary
instrument of piano. During his undergrad, he played roles
in operas, such as Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro and would
sing solos for various choir performances. Today, he sings
with the National Youth Choir of Canada, the Halifax
Camerata Singers, and does solo work, like singing the bass
solos during a performance of excerpts of Handel’s Messiah.
With various choirs, he has toured all of the Atlantic
provinces, Ontario, Québec, Alberta, and France. A "note"
from Joseph: "No matter what it is you’re hoping to learn or
in what musical style, there are plenty of ways we can
tackle your goals together. No need to be shy: we all make
funny noises sometimes! There is no greater joy than to sing
with others! " |
